No, clients cannot purchase our hair. Our products are professional products reserved for stylists. We do offer clip-ins for client purchase, with exclusive pricing available to stylists.
Apply directly through our website - Apply Now. License verification is instant through the beauty industry platform we use to confirm credentials. If additional information is needed, a member of our team will follow up within 48 hours.
There are two steps to our account approval process:
Step 1 — Create your Pro account: This is completed when you submit your application.
Step 2 — Verify your license with BeautyAlist: Enter your license number along with your first and last name. Make sure there are no typos, and that you’re entering your correct legal last name — not a maiden name or married name if that’s not what’s on your license, or vice versa.
If you’ve completed both steps, make sure you’re logging in with the same email address you used when you created your account.

PRODUCT & QUALITY
All of our hair is 100% Remy human hair — double drawn and silicone-free. We offer both straight and wavy textures.

COLOR & CUSTOMIZATION
Yes. All dimensional shades are pre-rooted for seamless blending without the need for additional customization.
Yes, our hair can be colored or toned. We always recommend doing a test strand first, and only tone or color more up to 2 shades darker for best results. Never bleach hair extensions.

INSTALLATION & USAGE
This depends on your client’s density and desired result. Most clients require 1 row for fullness and 2-3rows for length and volume. For more info on recommended row count, please visit our stylist resources here.

Micro-Wefts are ultra-thin, customizable, and can be cut without shedding. They do not have any return hair at the seam. Hand-Tied Wefts are designed for a traditional, flexible install with added fullness at the roots, since it has a “mustache” or return hair.
Our Hidden Bead Method beads are made of non-magnetic aluminum and silicone. Because they are aluminum (not iron or steel), they are not magnetic.
In the past, many of our clients have been able to keep their extensions in during an MRI with no issues. Typically, the MRI technician will wave a magnet wand over the head beforehand to confirm there is no magnetic reaction.
That said, we always recommend consulting directly with your doctor or MRI technician prior to your appointment, as every medical provider may have their own protocols.
We’re simply sharing feedback we’ve received from clients who have undergone MRIs while wearing their extensions and experienced no complications.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Cleansing
Always brush through the hair before washing to prevent tangling.
Use a sulfate-free, hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Avoid protein or repair/bonding products, as they can dry out the hair and cause breakage.
Use a weekly hydrating mask on the mid-lengths and ends to maintain softness and manageability.
Brushing
Brush your extensions daily to prevent tangling.
- Use the Muse boar bristle brush at the root area.
- Use a detangling brush through the mid-lengths and ends.
- Always brush from the ends up while supporting the hair at the root.
- Avoid aggressive brushing or pulling.
Blow Drying & Styling
We recommend fully drying your extensions after washing.
Towel dry first, then rough dry to about 80%. Always direct airflow downward to reduce tangling and finish styling with minimal tension.
Sleeping
Before bed, gently brush through the hair and secure it in a loose braid or low ponytail with a soft scrunchie.
For best results, sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.
Pool, Ocean & Sun Care
We do not recommend exposing extensions to chlorine or salt water. If you do:
- Keep hair secured in a braid or ponytail.
- Avoid submerging whenever possible.
- Use only mineral-based sunscreen, as traditional SPF can discolor the hair, especially blonde shades.
- For extended sun exposure, wear a hat to help preserve color and prevent dryness.
With proper care and maintenance, Muse Hair Pro extensions can last up to 12 months.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders placed before 3PM EST Monday–Friday ship the same day. Orders placed Saturday before 12PM EST ship the same day. Orders placed after that will ship the next business day.
We do not ship on Sundays.
You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order has shipped.
Most ground shipping orders arrive within 2–4 business days, depending on your location. Estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout.

Yes — orders can be modified within 2 hours of purchase via your confirmation email. The following changes are available:
- Edit shipping address
- Add a product to your order
- Change product quantities
- Replace a product

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. All delivery updates are provided directly through UPS.
If your tracking has not updated for 3 or more business days, please reach out to our customer support portal → with your order number and we’ll assist you with the next steps.
SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY & CLAIMS
Shipping costs are paid directly to UPS, and once your order leaves our facility, the carrier is responsible for delivery and transit.
Muse HairPro is not liable for refunding shipping costs due to delayed, lost, or stolen packages. Please note that UPS claims may not cover the full value of the shipment.
SHIPPING PROTECTION
We will handle the claim on your behalf and resolve the issue as quickly as possible if your package is lost or stolen.
We can assist in submitting a claim with UPS; however, replacement or reimbursement is not guaranteed and is subject to the carrier’s claim outcome.
If your order is delayed or you believe your package may be lost, please contact our customer support portal → with your order number and our team will guide you through the next steps.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for hair that is in brand-new condition, with all tags, packaging, and original binding fully intact—exactly as it was received.
To be eligible for return, hair must be completely unused and unaltered.
Hair that has been brushed, installed, toned, washed, or otherwise altered is not eligible for return under any circumstances.
Return Condition 1: Missing Original Black Binding
Hair returned without the original black binding intact cannot be accepted, as the product cannot be resold. The customer will be responsible for the cost of the prepaid return shipping label to have the item sent back to them.
Return Condition 2: Missing Original Plastic Sleeve
Hair returned without the original plastic sleeve will incur a ten percent restocking fee plus a $20 flat rate shipping and handling fee.
Return Condition 3: Missing Original Tag
Hair returned without the original tag will incur a ten percent restocking fee plus a $20 flat rate shipping and handling fee.
Example: Multiple Missing Items
If hair is returned with the black binding intact but without the original plastic sleeve and without the original tag, a 20% restocking fee plus a $20 flat rate shipping and handling fee will apply.
We do not offer exchanges. If needed, you may return items and place a new order.
To start a return, make sure you’re logged into your Muse Hair Pro account. At the footer of our homepage, click Start a Return. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label immediately after submitting your return request.
Yes. A flat $20 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. This covers the cost of the prepaid return label and processing.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
We offer virtual certification programs in both our Patented Hidden Bead Method and Keratin Tip Method for licensed professionals only. For more info, visit our education page here.
Our programs are designed for licensed professionals as well as cosmetology students who are actively enrolled in school.
Students must be able to provide proof of active enrollment in a cosmetology program to participate.
Our education includes step-by-step video modules, a detailed training manual, and direct mentorship support throughout the program.
Students complete a 3-level certification process, with each level requiring approval before moving forward.
- Level 1: Mannequin application
- Level 2: One row on a live model
- Level 3: Two rows on a live model
Each level is reviewed and approved by a Muse educator to ensure proper technique and results.
Each enrollment includes 3 months of mentorship support, where you can submit photos and videos for feedback and guidance.
